Christie Brinkley had an epic mother-daughter date night with her lookalike daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook.
Christie, 72, and Sailor, 28, stepped out in style at Ferragamo’s pop-up dinner hosted by Gabrielle Union at the Hamptons’ Topping Rose House on Saturday, July 25. The supermodel looked angelic — and ageless — in a white, collared sundress cinched at the waist. Sailor, for her part, opted for a long, pink-and-white halfter dress.
For glam, Christie and Sailor twinned by wearing their matching blonde locks in loose waves.
Christie is a mom of three. The fashion icon shares Sailor with ex-husband Peter Cook, son Jack Brinkley Cook, 31, with ex-husband Richard Taubman and eldest daughter Alexa Ray Joel, 40, with ex-husband Billy Joel. (Peter also adopted Jack amid his marriage to Christie.)
“It’s really about trying to listen to what’s going on in their lives and support whatever passion they have going on,” Christie exclusively told Us in November 2023 of supporting her adult children’s various passions. “If I want to drop a few words of advice, [I will] surround it [and] cushion it with lots of love, and then get it in there.”
She continued at the time, “I try not to be too judgmental and all of that because I think, at this point, they’ve got pretty good heads on their shoulders and they know what to do. … Sometimes I’m amazed that they really are watching and listening [to me. Occasionally, I’ll look at them and they’ll do something, and I’ll just be so proud and I’ll think, ‘Oh my gosh, they really did hear that.’”
In addition to teaching her kids, Christie has also learned a thing of two from being their mom.

“I find that they open up horizons for me all the time, and I love that about staying connected with my kids,” she gushed to Us. “I think it keeps me feeling invigorated and interested and excited about everything around me. So, there’s a real energy exchange there that’s just a beautiful thing.”
As for Sailor, it wasn’t always growing up in her mom’s shadow while trying to pursue her own modeling career.
“I grew up very insecure. I grew up very doubtful of myself in a lot of ways,” Sailor told Us in 2019. “I went into modeling, which is, like, not — I don’t want to say that — it’s the most challenging thing to take on as someone who is quite insecure. But you know, you find your way in it, you find your groove in it, and I ended up loving it.”
