One of the senior Chiefs in the Olubadan chieftainncy line, Oloye Olalekan Alabi has been buried.
Alabi, who was the Abese Olubadan of Ibadanland and a former Chief Press Secretary to three past governors of Oyo State died on Saturday, in Lagos at the age of 76
DAILY POST reports that the Ibadan senior Chief has been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
The Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik Abdulganiy Abubakar, led Islamic clerics to perform the Janazah (prayer for the deceased).
The Janazah was held at the residence of the deceased at teh Akobo area of Ibadan.
Alabi was subsequently buried Sunday afternoon at Eternal Home Cemetery along the Ibadan/ Oyo Expressway.
