Chelsea has confirmed that academy midfielder Ollie Harrison has signed a new deal with the Blues until 2029.

Harrison joined the Premier League west London club from Newcastle United as a 16-year-old three years ago.

The midfielder quickly established himself in Chelsea’s Under-18s squad.

Harrison signed his first professional contract in August 2024 and became a a regular for the Under-21s last season.

Meanwhile, in another development, Manchester United confirmed that young midfielder Sekou Kone has agreed to join Lausanne-Sport on loan for the 2026/27 season.

Kone spent the second half of last season with the Swiss Super League club as he gained valuable experience in senior football.

The Mali youth international is now returning to Switzerland to continue his development.

He joined Manchester United in August 2024 from Guidars FC.
