Chaos in the ring: Okocha mocks Portable after victory

Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has mocked a diss track released by singer Portable in the aftermath of his win over the musician at their Chaos in the Ring rematch in Lagos, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
A clip that surfaced shortly after the bout showed Okocha lying on his bed listening to the track with an exaggerated mocking expression, while members of his team danced around him, imitating Portable’s gestures.
The lighthearted video has drawn mixed reactions online, with many fans applauding what they described as a sporting response to the rivalry.
The mockery followed a chaotic finish to the rematch, tagged “Unfinished Business,” which headlined the event at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
The bout, a rematch of a first fight Okocha had insisted was wrongly scored in Portable’s favour, descended into a wrestling-like scuffle that the referee could not separate, forcing security to intervene.
Portable left the ring before the contest could be properly ruled on, drawing boos, and was later brought back and disqualified.
In the diss track, Portable, real name Habeeb Okikiola, took aim at the officiating, mocking the referee for turning away during the scuffle and accusing Okocha of trying to choke him, which he said forced the fight into a brawl.
He also threatened to settle scores through local wrestling if provoked again.
It was a second ring defeat for the singer, having lost by unanimous decision to Carter Efe on May 1 at the same venue in a bout televised on DAZN.
Following the Okocha bout, Portable had said he was paid N50m for lasting one round, insisting organisers had promised N100m had he completed two, and expressed his music career remained unaffected.
Elsewhere on the card, Basit Adebayo stopped Said Chino inside the distance and Suleiman Jafaru knocked out Samuel Antwi in the sixth round. Michael Babalola stayed unbeaten with a points win over Abidemi Rabiu, Shiloh Defreitas outpointed Eric Quarm, and Yusuf Adeniji got the nod over Rilwan Lawal, both on points.
The influencer bout between Idowest and Mr Real, who have long disputed ownership of the term “Legbègbe,” ended in a draw.
The event, organised by promoter Ezekiel Adamu, had generated massive attention beforehand, with organisers saying the franchise has amassed more than two billion video views and 4.2 billion digital impressions across previous editions.
