Iran has highlighted three key points related to the ongoing ceasefire talks with the United States.

The Speaker of Iran’s parliament and the head of the country’s negotiating team, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, in a statement posted on social media, said talking does not get them concession but missiles do.

Ghalibaf stated that Iran does not trust words, stressing that action is the only criteria.

According to him, the winner of any agreement is the one who is better prepared for war the next day.

Recall that talking tough is nothing new for either the US or Iranian officials as both sides frequently threaten the other and talk up their own strengths.

DAILY POST reports that while Ghalibaf is an important figure in the post-28 February Tehran structure, he is not an out-and-out leader in Iran, where there are different factions with influence.
