Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick has provided the latest injury update on Mason Mount.
Mount was forced off during Man United’s pre-season friendly 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.
The England attacking midfielder was forced off after only 20 minutes, with Tyler Fletcher taking his place.
Speaking to Norwegian broadcasters VG, Carrick provided an update on Mount’s situation.
“He just got a kick,” Carrick said. “So we just wanted [it] to be a precaution really, to look after him.
“We want to keep the group strong, and we have been fortunate to get everyone to this stage fit and well, so we wanted to be careful with that.”
Man United’s next game is against Leeds United, in Dublin, on Wednesday night.
