Shooting Stars will face Tunisian side CS Sfaxien in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, DAILY POST reports.
Nurudeen Aweroro’s side will host the first leg at the Remo Stars Sports Complex, Ikenne while the reverse fixture will hold in Sfax.
The winner will face either AF Amadou Diallo of Côte d’Ivoire or East End Lions of Sierra Leone in the second preliminary round.
Nigeria’s other representative in the competition, El-kanemi Warriors will take on Guinea Bissau’s União Desportiva Internacional.
Victory over UDIB would set up a daunting second preliminary round showdown against Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, one of the eight clubs exempted from the opening round.
The first leg is scheduled for between 4 and 6 September, while the reverse fixture will be held between the 11th and 13th of the same month.
