Brooklyn Beckham’s team have issued a statement after his sister, Harper, was seen arriving at his home. The Beckham family had gathered in Los Angeles as their father, Sir David, was honoured with a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Harper, attempted to visit her older brother while they were in the city. However, hopes of a reconciliation were quickly dashed as Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be found, leaving Harper with no choice but to turn away without setting foot inside.
However, it’s thought Harper may have left a letter. Brooklyn was in New York City – the opposite side of the United States, while his family were enjoying their trip to Hollywood to honour Sir David. A post on Instagram that showed him running made that clear.

Now, Brooklyn’s team have spoken out after the pictures of Harper looking deflated emerged. Speaking to Page Six, a spokesperson for the eldest Beckham child said: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.”
The Beckhams have long been dogged by reports of bitter family feuds, with aspiring chef Brooklyn repeatedly turning his back on his relatives. Earlier this year, he publicly accused his family of trying to “ruin” his marriage to Nicola, and even announced via Instagram that he had no wish to repair ties, instructing his parents to communicate with him solely through legal representatives.
Despite this, Harper was spotted making a beeline for Brooklyn’s home shortly after the Hollywood ceremony in what appeared to be an olive branch.
In images obtained by Page Six, Harper was spotted approaching the gates unaccompanied, still dressed in her pink silk gown from the ceremony. Sources claimed Harper turned up ‘unannounced’ and was the sole family member to make the journey.
The Mirror previously revealed how Brooklyn has found it difficult to maintain a relationship with his sister amid the ongoing rift with his parents. The 27-year-old is presently estranged from David and Victoria, as well as his brothers Cruz and Romeo, having blocked all of them on social media.
Yet, the dynamic is “very different” regarding his 14-year-old sister, whom Brooklyn has reportedly attempted to protect from the family breakdown. However, an insider acknowledges that the “fundamental logistics of his little sister living under the same roof as his parents…. makes things very hard, contact-wise”, and their bond isn’t what it used to be.
Brooklyn’s estrangement from his relatives deepened further when he failed to attend his father’s Walk of Fame ceremony on Friday. During a pre-ceremony interview, David declined to address the family dispute with Variety.
He said: “To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter. That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about.” Earlier this year, Brooklyn angrily hit out, saying: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” amid allegations that he was being manipulated by his spouse.
