Brooklyn Beckham has made a tasty bit of profit thanks to his controversial DoorDash advert – making a reported $1million.
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham caused a stir this month when he made light of their explosive family drama in a World Cup themed commercial.
The promotional clip shows 27-year-old Brooklyn relaxing at home while waiting for product to be delivered to him. Addressing the camera, he quips: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets.” He then added: “Um, it’s because … it’s a long story.”

This came after Brooklyn dropped took aim at his family and accused his parents of only ever being interested in fame and money and claimed they tried to destroy his marriage to 31-year-old billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz.
Fans of the Beckham clan – and those following the scandal – were stunned to see Brooklyn addressing the drama in an advert for DoorDash: the on-demand food delivery service. He has partnered with the company to hide World Cup tickets around American cities that fans can then claim.
Being the son of a former World Cup player, Brooklyn would traditionally be able to land tickets to the sporting event for himself with ease, however his advert suggests he’s keen to avoid going to matches himself in order to avoid any awkward run ins with his family. While the tongue in cheek advert has raised eyebrows among some fans, it is said to have landed the star a $1 million (£753,000) pay day.
PageSix reported the payment details, with a source close to Brooklyn is reported stating that the youngster himself must be equally as thrilled after being paid a cool one million. They claimed: “It’s a little cheesy. Anything that makes him money is good – it shows that his brand is there and flourishing.”

The Mirror has contacted a representative of Brooklyn for comment.
Fans will recall that Brooklyn eviscerated his parents in a string of statements shared via Instagram Stories – published following months of speculation that the eldest Beckham child had fallen out with his immediate family.
He wrote: “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”
Insisting he did not want to reconcile with his family, he unleashed further, claiming: “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
He went on to claim his parents had tried to turn him against his now wife ahead of their 2022 wedding – stating his family tried to force him to sign away the rights to his own name, and that Victoria had branded him “evil” for wanting his grandmother at the top table rather than her.
He claimed his siblings had been weaponised against him and sent to “attack” him via social media. And in a shocking comment, he revealed: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.

He wrote: “I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.” He added: “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”
