British heavyweight lands world title shot – and it’s not Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury

- Frank Warren of Queensberry Promotions expressed strong confidence in Itauma, noting his impressive unbeaten record of 14-0 with 12 knockouts and his rapid ascent since turning professional.
- The fight arrangement included Cuban boxer Frank Sanchez stepping aside from his mandatory challenge for the vacant IBF title, with an agreement that he will face the winner of the Itauma vs Hrgovic contest, while Itauma’s fellow British heavyweights Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury look set to face each other later this year.
