Devotees of costume dramas are set for a real treat as a much-loved family saga makes its comeback with fresh instalments available to stream at no cost.
The heart-warming tale of social climbing, shot on location in Dublin and County Wicklow, is now set in late 1895 – an era when electric lighting was only beginning to emerge.
Numerous fresh concepts, romances and obstacles emerge in the forthcoming episodes, broadcasting every Thursday from today, 14 May.

The period piece first premiered in 2024 and garnered widespread praise for its ability to transport viewers. Enthusiasts flocked to IMDb reviews to express their opinions on the series, with one describing it as a “breath of fresh air” and a “proper standout in a genre that can feel very samey”.
