A brave schoolboy who was “given the strength to walk by Spider-Man” has attended the star-studded premiere of the latest blockbuster.
Noah Connell, who suffers from Pierre Robin Sequence and was born with part of his spine missing, travelled to the glitzy event in London with his family last night.
The youngster, 9, uses a wheelchair but was inspired to achieve the milestone his family feared may never come after meeting his superhero during filming for the movie in Glasgow last year.
We told at the time how Noah spoke to Spidey on set and shared a high five with his idol before later taking his first steps at home.

Mum Jade, 27, told the Record: “We always said it was Spider-Man who gave him the strength to do it, so we were ecstatic when we got tickets to go the premier in London last night.
“Noah was decked out in Spider-Man clothes and played with his figure on the train down. Spidey is Noah’s hero and he couldn’t wait to see the film.
“Seeing all of the stars turn up was amazing. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and Noah couldn’t believe that the real Spider-Man was right in front of him.

“Noah had a wee question that he was dying to ask Tom Holland. He wants to know how it feels for him to inspire kids to be superheroes like him.
“He absolutely loved the movie. He loves everything Spider-Man, so that was no surprise.
“Taking Noah to the premiere was so special. We will cherish this memory forever.”
Jade went on to explain that the dream trip almost never happened after unsuccessfully applying for disability access tickets.
Jade then made one final attempt by entering radio competition, only to be cut off at the last second.

She continued: “I gave them all of Noah’s information and then the phone line went dead.
“Noah was gutted. He uses his IPad to talk and he just kept on pressing the question button. I felt terrible.
“I tried everything and messaged everyone but heard nothing back.
“It felt like all hope was lost hope but then I got an email from Premiere Events telling me that there had been a cancellation in the disability pen.
“We jumped on right away and secured them and some train tickets.
“I told Noah and then we haven’t stopped watching the Spider-Man films ever since.”
Noah was honoured as a Child of Courage at this year’s Pride of Scotland Awards, despite doctors doubting he would survive infancy.
The inspiration boy’s trip to London comes one year after the Daily Record reported his meeting with his hero last year.
Jade said: “We were full of emotions when Noah met Spider-Man last year.
“When he took his first unassisted steps and it really lifted all of us.

“He has been taking strides ever since then and he’s able to take a good few steps himself now.
“I’m having to keep even more of an eye on him.
“It still feels so surreal how much he is able to do after constantly being braced for the worst.
“Since he was born, we’ve been told constant negativity and it impacts you mentally.
“But Noah has totally defied it all and he fights every day.”
