Bournemouth still searching for first win of season after draw with Brentford
- Bournemouth manager Marco Rose was denied his first Premier League win after a costly error by goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic allowed Brentford to claim a 2-2 draw at the Vitality Stadium.
- Kevin Schade opened the scoring for the Bees with a 34th-minute header, but Justin Kluivert equalised for Bournemouth just four minutes later.
- Marcus Tavernier gave Bournemouth a 2-1 lead early in the second half by finishing off a pass from Evanilson following a searching ball from Antonio Silva.
- Brentford restored parity in the 56th minute when Petrovic inexplicably passed a back ball straight to Schade, who lobbed the ball into an unguarded net for his second goal of the match.
- The draw keeps Brentford unbeaten with six points from four games, while Bournemouth remain winless on three points despite late pressure and Ben Gannon-Doak hitting the post in added time.
