Big Brother has unveiled a fresh twist in the ongoing BBNaija Season 11, placing housemates into male and female teams for selected tasks and competitions.
Making the announcement to the contestants on Sunday, Biggie said, “The house would be split into two groups, the ladies and the guys, with key house challenges to be contested along those lines.”
Under the new arrangement, wager tasks, arena games and other competitions will now be contested between the two teams, with housemates expected to work together to secure victories and rewards.
The development is expected to alter the dynamics of the house, as contestants balance teamwork with individual strategies while navigating new rivalries and alliances.
Big Brother Naija Season 11 officially premiered on Sunday, with organisers unveiling the first batch of housemates competing for the show’s record-breaking ₦160 million grand prize.
The live launch show, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, featured the introduction of the contestants to viewers before they participated in brief interviews and entered Biggie’s house.
With the introduction of the gender-based team challenge, viewers will now watch how the new structure shapes relationships, strategies and competition among the housemates as the season progresses.
