BBNaija S11: Chimsom wins HoH again, 14 face eviction

Anambra-born pharmacist and actor, Chimsom Chuka, has emerged as the Head of House for the second time in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 11 “Show Ya Sef” edition.
Chimsom secured the title on Monday night after beating Gerard in the final head-to-head contest, earning immunity from this week’s eviction nominations.
The reality show announced his victory on its official social media platforms, saying Chimsom had made it clear that “one HoH win was not enough” after claiming the title for the second time this season.
His latest victory comes after he also won the Head of House challenge in the first week of the competition.
Meanwhile, the week’s nomination process produced a large pool of housemates facing possible eviction, with Chimsom using his veto power to save Sheba after she received the highest number of votes in the nomination faceoff.
During the faceoff, housemates were asked to publicly name two fellow contestants they wanted to save from eviction and explain their choices.
Sheba emerged as the housemate with the most save votes, after which Chimsom exercised his power as Head of House to secure her safety.
As a result, Chimsom, Abi and Sheba were exempted from this week’s eviction nominations.
Chimsom is protected by his Head of House immunity, while Abi retained immunity after being named the Most Influential Player of the Week following Sunday’s eviction of Cassi.
Sheba was saved through Chimsom’s veto power.
Aikou and Flora, who were introduced as the season’s Gambits during an earlier twist, are also protected from eviction.
The latest development means that the remaining eligible housemates are up for possible eviction this week, setting the stage for another round of audience voting and Sunday’s live eviction show.
After Cassi’s eviction on Sunday, August 23, 19 housemates remain in the “Show Ya Sef” house.
Voting is currently open through the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps and the Africa Magic website and will close on Thursday at 9pm WAT.
The BBNaija Season 11 winner is set to receive a record ₦160m grand prize package, comprising ₦100m in cash, a brand-new SUV and additional prizes from the show’s sponsors.
The prize is the biggest in the history of the reality show and adds to the stakes for the housemates as the competition progresses.
