Mikel Arteta backs Enzo Maresca to do ‘great job’ at Man City
  • Premier League champions Arsenal scored the fastest goal in Community Shield history after Riccardo Calafiori’s opening goal against Manchester City.
  • In a move straight from kick-off, Myles Lewis-Skelly played a beautiful pass into the area where Calafiori fired it into the back of the net after just 24 seconds.
  • The Italian full-back’s goal is the fastest in the competition and the first in the opening minute of a clash since Bobby Owen for Manchester City in 1968.
  • Arsenal currently lead 2-0 after Kai Havertz doubled the North London side’s lead during a dominant first-half.
  • This year’s edition takes place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, relocated from its usual home at Wembley due to a series of concerts by The Weeknd at the London venue.
