Anghard Evans has won gold for Scotland in the Commonwealth Games – winning the Women’s 100m Breaststroke.
She is the first Scot to take home a gold in the event.
Evans, 23, completed the race in 1 minute 6.07 seconds, beating South Africa’s Aimee Canny who finished just .12 of a second behind her.
The medal is Scotland’s fourth gold of the Games, which are being held in Glasgow.
Earlier today Reuben Ward, 21, picked up a gold for his performance in gymnastics.

Duncan Scott also took gold in the 200m individual medley, before Faye Rogers won gold in the 200m individual medley SM10.
