Ryan Seacrest has been photographed looking almost unrecognisable as he debuted a completely new look. The American Idol star, 51, showed off a very youthful visage as he appeared at the Annual UCLA Jonsson Cancer Centre Foundation’s Taste For A Cure gala.
Seacrest hasn’t responded to comments about his shocking transformation, however, he has been regularly sharing snippets of his workouts and fitness routine on social media, including lifting weights in the water.
A source close to the television host told Radar, “He’s lifting all these weights to muscle up and making a scene doing it, as his social media shows. He’s desperate to build himself up, targeting every area of his body. It’s exhausting but he’s going for it.”
Ryan had previously sparked concern amongst fans earlier this year when he stepped out at his Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White’s wedding, while rocking a more slimmed-down frame. But last week, Ryan’s new look had fans feeling confused.
Earlier this year, Ryan sparked concern that he may have turned to medication to aid weight loss following a video which was shared on social media.

But as he made an appearance at the annual event last week, fans questioned Ryan’s new look while he spoke to We Are Pause Rewind, with one asking: “Did my guy get a lash lift?” While another responded saying: “He got an everything lift.”
“Oh no what happened to him,” commented a third. “Can we all just start aging naturally pls,” said another.
Ryan recently made an unexpected admission about his love life, almost two years after splitting from his girlfriend, model Aubrey Paige. During the March special of Love Is In The Air, which saw couples battle it out on the game show, Ryan revealed he was on Tinder – an online dating app.

“I love Love Is in the Air,” he said, adding: “And I’ll be on Tinder tonight, so I can find it.” Co-host Vanna responded: “Love will be in the air next time. I promise.” However, as the episode progressed, Ryan shared a more candid insight into his love life.
He said: “I am so lonely up here.” The admission came almost a year after he explained he was feeling “depressed” due to being single following his split from Paige. During an episode of American Idol, which saw a contestant sing a love ballad, he said: “I’ve never been more depressed to be single than right now in this moment.”
Ryan and Paige split in 2024 after three years of dating. At the time, a source said: “After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways.
“They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavours.” Prior to Paige, he had dated Hilary Cruz, Shayna Taylor and dancer Julianne Hough. Speaking about their relationship on the Armchair Expert podcast, Ryan explained that Julianne was initially worried that people would assume she was using his fame.
