President Donald Trump’s weekend was again filled with Truth Social posts ranging from AI-generated content comparing himself to Elvis Presley and overseeing Greenland to showing off renderings of his new projects in D.C.
Between Saturday and Sunday, the president posted approximately 40 times on Truth Social, much of it consisting of AI-generated images, flattering articles and photos that stroked his ego.
“President Trump ages in reverse!” the caption of one post featuring an image of Trump read.
Some of the AI content imagined Trump as Elvis Presley, compared him to former President George Washington and, bizarrely, showed Trump capturing an extraterrestrial.
In between the strange array of posts, the president occasionally posted to condemn his opponents, lashing out at Republican Senators John Cornyn and Thom Tillis for not confirming his attorney general nominee and refuting U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s decision to drop charges against an alleged Reflecting Pool vandal.
open image in galleryIn three separate posts Saturday, the president insisted that vandals had damaged the newly installed liner to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in an act of political defiance. He posted images and videos, claiming it showed evidence of such action – though it was difficult to make out in the grainy video.
His posts came after Pirro dropped felony charges against a former Olympian who was initially accused of peeling the Reflecting Pool liner – causing algae to rebloom on its surface. Pirro said evidence indicated the damage was the “result of flawed installation by the contractor.”
open image in galleryThe president also criticized Cornyn and Tillis for refusing to confirm Todd Blanche as the next attorney general, claiming they too were rebelling because of personal feelings.
Cornyn and Tillis are holding out on their votes until the Trump administration confirms it will permanently axe the nearly $1.8 billion “Anti-Weaponization Fund.”
But aside from his occasional written messages, most of the president’s weekend content was a collage of videos and photos that heighten his ego.

Another showed Trump overlooking Greenland – alluding to the president’s desire for the U.S. to take over Greenland despite pushback from both Greenlandic and Danish officials.
In a similar vein, another image depicted Venezuela as the 51st state – seemingly referring to the president’s desire to have more control over Venezuela after capturing its leader earlier this year.

open image in galleryAt least five other Truth Social posts were photos of newly refurbished statues or monuments, as part of Trump’s beautification agenda in the nation’s capital. One of those included a rendering of his Triumphal Arch that he hopes to put in downtown D.C. to mark America’s 250th anniversary.
One post depicted him as a dynamic leader of Revolutionary War troops, while another showed him gazing at a younger version of himself, wearing his cadet’s uniform, under the caption “Same Guy. Even more energy now!”
In true Trump fashion, he also posted content mocking his political opponents. This past weekend’s included a side-by-side comparing Democrat James Talarico to the cartoon Alfred E. Neuman as well as a highly edited photo of Bruce Springsteen with the caption “What Happened to Bruce Springsteen?”

open image in galleryIt’s not uncommon for the president to rattle off a wide range of content on his preferred social media account on weekends or holidays. Trump is known for going on posting sprees on Truth Social late at night as well.
White House aides occasionally assist the president in posting on Truth Social, including Natalie Harp, who has access to Trump’s account and shares clusters of posts with his approval, the New York Times reported.
