Aiyedatiwa appoints new board chairmen, special advisers

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of new chairmen and members of various boards and agencies in the state.
The appointments, announced in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Friday, take immediate effect.
The new appointments include leadership changes at the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, Local Government Service Commission, Muslim Welfare Board, Christian Welfare Board and Consumer Protection Agency.
Mrs Brown Ademilegun was appointed full-time chairman of the Universal Basic Education Board, while Pastor Segun Ayerin was named chairman of the Local Government Service Commission.
Alhaji Adam Chandy was appointed chairman of the Muslim Welfare Board, while Pastor Peter Abimbola was named chairman of the Christian Welfare Board.
Mr Oluyemi Fashipe was also appointed chairman of the Ondo State Consumer Protection Agency.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also approved the appointment of Mr Femi Fadairo as Special Adviser on Special Duties and Strategy. Fadairo replaces Hon. Gani Mohammed, who has been redeployed as Special Adviser on Mines and Mineral Resources.
Other appointees include full-time and part-time members of the various boards and commissions.
The governor congratulated the new appointees and urged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and transparency “in the best interest of the people of Ondo State.”
Adeniyan said the appointments were part of the governor’s efforts to strengthen the administration and ensure effective delivery of government responsibilities across the state.
