Actor Nick Pasqual was sentenced to 32 years to life in Los Angeles for the attempted murder of his estranged girlfriend, makeup artist Allie Shehorn.
Pasqual broke into Shehorn’s Sunland, California, home in May 2024 and stabbed her more than 20 times before fleeing the state.
Shehorn, who survived the brutal attack after extensive surgeries, delivered a powerful victim impact statement in court, describing her terror and pain.
Authorities stated there were several reports of abuse prior to the attack, with Shehorn having filed a restraining order against Pasqual days before the incident.
The judge questioned Pasqual’s sincerity about his remorse, citing a recorded phone call in which he reportedly mocked Shehorn’s ordeal.
