AbdulRazaq donates bus to Kwara CAN

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has donated a brand new Toyota Hiace bus to the Kwara State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria.
The association described the gesture as a demonstration of the administration’s commitment to religious harmony and support for faith-based organisations.
The donation was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by the State Secretary of CAN, Apostle Shina Ibiyemi, who expressed the association’s appreciation to the governor for the intervention.
According to the association, the vehicle would improve its operational capacity and enhance the discharge of its responsibilities across the state.
The statement read, “The Kwara State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) wishes to express its profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, for his generous donation of a brand new Toyota Hiace Bus to the Association.
“This kind gesture is a demonstration of Your Excellency’s inclusive leadership, commitment to religious harmony, and unwavering support for faith-based organizations in Kwara State.
“The donation of this vehicle will undoubtedly enhance the operational efficiency of the Association and assist in the effective discharge of its responsibilities across the state.”
CAN noted that the donation reflected the cordial relationship between the state government and the Christian community, describing it as evidence of the governor’s commitment to fairness, justice and peaceful coexistence among religious groups.
“The Christian community in Kwara State deeply appreciates this thoughtful intervention, which further underscores the cordial relationship that exists between the Government of Kwara State and the Christian faithful.
“It is a clear testimony to Your Excellency’s belief in equity, justice, and the promotion of peaceful coexistence among all religious groups in the State,” the statement added.
The association also commended AbdulRazaq’s leadership, saying the state had continued to record progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, youth empowerment and social inclusion under his administration.
“We commend Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his visionary leadership, humility, and dedication to the development of Kwara State. Under his administration, the State has continued to witness remarkable progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, youth empowerment, and social inclusion,” CAN stated.
It further assured the governor of its continued prayers and support for his administration while praying for sustained peace, unity, security and prosperity in the state.
“On behalf of the entire Christian community in Kwara State, we offer our sincere prayers for His Excellency and his administration. We pray that Almighty God will continue to grant him divine wisdom, sound health, strength, and guidance as he steers the affairs of our dear State.
“We also pray for continued peace, unity, security, and prosperity in Kwara State. May our State continue to flourish under God’s divine favour, and may all citizens enjoy the dividends of good governance.
“Once again, we say a heartfelt thank you to His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for this noble and generous gesture. We assure him of our continued prayers and support for the peace, progress, and development of Kwara State,” the statement said.
