Aaron Chalmers has pledged to move down a weight after he was ferociously knocked out by Darren Till at BKFC 90. Chalmers, 39, was pitted against the former UFC and Misfits boxing ace at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham.
At the start of the light-heavyweight fight, the former Geordie Shore star was the brighter fighter. A perfectly timed left-hook dropped Till to his knee and emitted a huge cheer around the thousands in attendance.
Unfortunately for Chalmers, his strike appeared to poke the Gorilla, who responded by flooring him with a massive punch which switched the 39-year-old’s lights out immediately. After his nasty looking knockout, Chalmers offered an insight into his next plan.
He took to Instagram and wrote: “Tried to be great tonight and unfortunately failed on the biggest stage against a man nobody would fight.
“Well done @darrentill2.0 great shot, but I’ll hold my head high and drop down to my weight and go again. See yous all soon.”

Till certainly enjoyed the victory. He marked it by taking the microphone, standing in the middle of the circular ring and shouting a foul-mouthed warning to the rest of the pack in BKFC.
The Liverpudlian yelled: “I was made for this [bare knuckle violence], I was made for it, I’m a Scouse hillbilly.

“[I said] I’ve got to let my hands go in the second [and] I got it. I told my coach I wanted to feel it out in the first round, and Adam has got more experience and that first round was his.
“But, guys, look, full respect to Aaron, please respect this man, the set of balls on this man. All I’ve heard people call him a reality TV star – that was 65 years ago!

“He’s a fighter. He’s been fighting and training with the likes of Leon Edwards; he’s a proper man.”
Chalmers has previously fought on MMA brands such as BAMMA and Bellator and has also had his fair share of boxing fights, both bare-knuckle and gloved.

In 2023, he notably fought Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout, which was the iconic boxer’s only fight to take place in the United Kingdom.
