Kano Pillars midfielder, Rabiu Ali, has reiterated the club’s commitment to improve on their performance in the 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

DAILY POST recalls that Kano Pillars escaped relegation on the final day of the last campaign.

Ali promised supporters they will approach the upcoming season with determination.

“Kano State is our state and our pride, Kano Pillars is our team and our pride. Just as blood flows through our bodies, so does love for Kano Pillars flow through us,” Ali wrote on his Facebook page.

“As long as we are alive by God’s will, this season we will double our efforts to bring joy to our brothers and sisters, the people of Kano State, that’s pure Sai Masu Gida spirit.”

Kano Pillars are currently undergoing transition with the recent appointment of a new management team.

The 2026-27 NPFL season is expected to kick-start on Friday, 28, August.
