The Nationwide League One, NLO, has issued queries to centre referee Adanlawo Ayomide and match commissioner Mohammed Lateef for allegedly breaching confidentiality after the one-leg playoff between Yewa Football Academy and FC Ebedei in Akure.

The NLO said the two officials may face disciplinary action for unauthorized disclosure of the official match report.

The league’s secretariat received a formal statement from Yewa Football Academy’s Mr Mojeed Ibrahim claiming access to the report.

According to the NLO rule book, unauthorized sharing of match report with a club official violates the NLO Code of Conduct and sports ethics.

The NLO requested a detailed written explanation from each official within 24 hours.

It also enforces a zero-tolerance policy on match integrity breaches.

Failure to respond satisfactorily will result in the duo’s immediate and indefinite suspension from all NLO activities.
