Liverpool have already made their first signing with Andoni Iraola as manager. But there are surely more arrivals to come ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
The Arne Slot era is over at Anfield and former Bournemouth boss Iraola takes over a side that finished a lowly fifth, having won the top-flight title just one campaign prior.
Mohamed Salah’s departure is just one of many expected squad shake-ups and Victor Munoz has arrived from Osasuna. Jeremy Jacquet will also touch down from Rennes after that deal was wrapped up in February.
But the Reds are also bidding for one of World Cup 2026’s brightest young sparks, Yan Diomande. Mirror Football brings you an update regarding the RB Leipzig winger and the latest Liverpool transfer news.

Liverpool’s pursuit of Diomande, a potential successor to Salah, will seemingly dominate the club’s narrative this window. The Reds have reportedly shown a willingness to part with £86m for the player, who has impressed for the Ivory Coast at the World Cup.

This is thought to be too low an offer in the eyes of Leipzig, who reportedly want over £100m for Diomande. Paris Saint-Germain are among the other rumoured interested parties.
However, a meeting regarding Randal Kolo Muani, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham, could send Liverpool a warning. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus chiefs are jetting into France to meet with PSG over a potential deal for their forward Kolo Muani.
If he were to leave, this could free up a seat in the dressing room for Diomande. Not to mention, if PSG can garner a fair fee, this could finance a potential deal, so Iraola’s side may not want to rest on their laurels.
Elsewhere, Mundo Deportivo claims that Liverpool are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who missed out on a spot in France’s World Cup squad.

The Spanish publication reports that the Reds have made contact regarding the Frenchman, with Real Madrid looking to sell a midfielder to finance other deals this summer.
However, it is thought that the 23-year-old does not want to leave the Bernabeu. Camavinga wants to convince incoming manager Jose Mourinho that he can be a valuable part of his squad and has told his agents not to listen to any offers that may be submitted. He is valued at approximately £52m.
