England v Panama: Everything you need to know including TV channel and injuries

Why England’s Tactics DIDN’T WORK Against Ghana
  • Thomas Tuchel’s side are top of Group L on four points, following an impressive opening win against Croatia and then a 0-0 stalemate against Ghana on Tuesday night.
  • Reece James will miss England’s clash with Panama, and is in a race against time to be fit for England’s last 32 tie, while Declan Rice is expected to be fit in midfield after his own injury scare.
  • England’s clash with Panama kicks off at 10pm BST (5pm ET) on Saturday 27 June at New York/New Jersey Stadium; the match against Panama will be broadcast in the UK on ITV 1 and ITVX, with coverage starting at 8.45pm BST.
  • England must win or better Ghana’s result against Croatia to qualify as group winners from Group L but a draw against Panama and a win by Ghana over Croatia will see The Three Lions qualify as Group L runners-up.
  • If England qualify as group winners, they will next play at 5pm BST on Wednesday 1 July, but if Thomas Tuchel’s side finish second, they will play at 12am BST on 3 July.
