Ekene Awazie is set to end his four-year spell with Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Enyimba.

Awazie will leave the nine-time NPFL champions when his contract expires at the end of this month.

He has opted not to renew his contract with the Aba giants.

“I will leave Enyimba when my contract expires at the end of this month,” Awazie told extrasports.

Awazie made 112 league appearances for the People’s Elephant.

He netted 13 goals, and registered six assists during his time in Aba.

Awazie also won the NPFL title with Enyimba in 2023.
