Jason and Travis Kelce’s Dad Ed Reveals He’s ‘Lost Quite a Bit of Weight’

Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, is confirming his weight loss journey.

“A couple of years ago, I got beautiful shirts from my friends at Tommy Bahamas [sic] in 2XL. Since then I’ve lost quite a bit of weight and now wear an XL,” Ed wrote via Instagram on Thursday, June 18, sharing a photo of a pile of clothes. “When the folks at Tommy Bahamas heard about this, they sent me new shirts in XL. How cool is this?”

Ed further thanked the Tommy Bahama brand for gifting him a new batch of T-shirts and a pair of Olikai sandals — “New Heights version.” (Ed and his ex-wife, Donna Kelce, raised their two sons in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, which eventually inspired the brother’s football podcast name.)

While Ed hasn’t further detailed his weight loss progress, he offered fans a glimpse of his slimmed down physique in a second social media upload.

“Gonna have some fun in Sea Isle,” Ed captioned a Thursday video of himself modeling his new Tommy Bahama merch.

In the footage, Ed sported a gray polo with a Philadelphia Eagles logo in honor of Jason’s former NFL team.

“Hey everybody, I wanted to show you this really cool shirt I got from our friends at Tommy Bahama,” he gushed at the time. “[It] comes with the Eagles logo already on it. Check out the back! Is this cool or what?”

The backside of the shirt read, “Tommy Bahama Eagles” above an illustration of an Eagles football player in uniform. The front, meanwhile, featured an Eagles Autism patch that matched a similar one on athletes’ jerseys.

“This is to raise awareness for the Eagles Autism Foundation,” he explained. “Next week, Wednesday and Thursday, June 24 and 25, we have a fundraiser going on in Sea Isle City. We’re going to have a great time. I’m going to get players, any celebrities there [and] as many people as I can to sign this [shirt]. Afterward, we’ll raffle this off to raise a few more bucks for a very worthy cause. So, come on out and have fun with us next week!”

Jason, 37, and his wife, Kylie Kelce, are longtime supporters of Eagles Autism and are both expected to attend the upcoming fundraiser in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. It’s not known whether Travis, 36, will attend.

While Jason played his entire NFL career with the Eagles, Travis has similarly played his entire pro football tenure with the Kansas City Chiefs. The tight end recently took a break from preseason practices for a bachelor party in Los Angeles.

Travis proposed to his girlfriend of two years, Taylor Swift, in August 2025 and they are rumored to say “I do” later this summer.
