Prince Harry made an unexpected appearance at Game 5 of the NBA Finals in San Antonio, Texas, where he was seen courtside alongside US Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient JP Lane and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
His presence in Texas was primarily due to his attendance at the Warrior Games, an event for wounded, injured, or ill military personnel organised by the US Government.
The New York Knicks clinched their first NBA title since 1973 with a 94-90 victory in the game, though neither the Duchess of Sussex nor the couple’s children were present at the match.
Other famous faces in the crowd included actors Sydney Sweeney, Timothee Chalamet, and Ben Stiller, underscoring the high-profile nature of the sporting event.
Harry’s appearance coincided with King Charles’s official birthday celebration in London, where the Trooping the Colour event showcased military pageantry and was attended by the Princess of Wales and her children.
