Inter Milan have confirmed they are interested in a deal for Liverpool star Curtis Jones this summer. Jones, 25, is a product of the Reds’ academy and has gone on to make 228 appearances for the Merseyside outfit.
But he could be among the clutch of players leaving the club this summer alongside Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson and Ibrahima Konate. According to reports, Inter Milan are interested in a move for the England man.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has discussed his side’s plans for the summer transfer window and confirmed that Jones is under consideration. He said: “Curtis Jones, we are paying attention to him. We didn’t hide. We understand what the developments will be.”
That admission comes after Liverpool wideman Federico Chiesa revealed that he had been discussing living in Italy when chatting to Jones. He said: “Jones only asked me how life is in Italy.

“I told him you live very well and the weather is better than Liverpool. Jones is technically very strong, Inter are right to think about him. As for Alisson, from what I hear he stays in England, but we will see. He is one of the best five goalkeepers in the world.”
Jones could potentially be joined in Italy by Chiesa himself. The ex-Juventus man has been linked with a return to his homeland this summer, Como among those reportedly eyeing him.
But club president Mirwan Suwarso has revealed that a deal for his services would be too expensive despite Como having secured a spot in next season’s Champions League.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, he said: “We are looking at many players. The price for those players is a bit higher than the range we have in mind, though.”

Chiesa in the meantime has said that he could be forced to look for pastures new should things not change at Anfield. He said: “If I don’t find consistency in the Premier League, I’ll have to look elsewhere. I barely played in my first year at Liverpool, and in the last one, very little.
“I’ll go on a training camp in the US, then I’ll talk to the club and the new manager, [Andoni] Iraola, and we’ll see.”
“I’ve played very little since the start of 2026,” the Italian added. “I have a great relationship with Liverpool. In January, the club and Slot told me I couldn’t leave; they needed me, partly for numerical reasons.
“We were in a tight spot. I understood the situation and I was left smiling. Liverpool is always talked about; last year they helped me win the Premier League.”
