Dua Lipa and Callum Turner tied the knot at Marylebone Registry office in London last weekend, before flying to Sicily for a three-day £1million wedding extravaganza.

The couple said ‘I do’ again at the Villa Valguarnera in Italy in front of all their family and friends on Saturday. The villa has been hired out for €100,000 and unlike Friday’s festivities where locals were able to catch a glimpse of the lavish ‘do from balconies and terraces, Saturday’s event is shrouded in tight security.

A ring of steel has been thrown up around the villa, which was made famous by the TV show White Lotus, as metal barriers were put up on side roads leading to the venue.

In addition, a no drone fly zone has been set up and the only way of seeing the couple and their guests is when arriving cars slow down to enter the grand metal gates.

Security for the wedding is so tight that at one point, a group of pensioners sitting in shade close to the entrance were asked to move along.

On Friday, a heavy police presence was seen around the Palazzo Valguarnera Gangi as a cocktail reception took place for Callum and Dua’s guests.

Catering for the wedding is being provided by local chef Tony Lo Coco from Sicilian restaurant I Pupi.

While exact details of what guests can expect to eat when they sit down for dinner haven’t been unveiled, Lo Coco said the menu comprises of “traditional Sicilian” food.

In terms of layout, the party is expected to be held in the villa’s stunning gardens right in front of the building.

According to sources, a semi circle of chairs has been set up on the lawn directly in front of the villa’s main entrance, with a gazebo right in the middle.

“Dua and Callum will sit on a stage under the gazebo and a simple exchange of vows will take place, but it will have no legal meaning,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Behind the main villa is where the post-ceremony dinner is expected to take place, with tables laid out laden with white linen cloths.

The party kicked off on Friday night with a lavish welcome party for their star studded guest list, which includes the likes of Mark Ronson, Charli XCX and Donatella Versace.

A source told the Daily Mail: “This is going to be the coolest wedding, and so glam. Both Dua and Callum have been so excited and have been really involved with the planning. They want it to be epic.”

While the three-day bonanza is great for Dua, Callum and their guests, locals have made their feelings clear on the celebration in the city. Reports claim Dua has paid £5,000 to local residents to compensate those who live in apartments overlooking areas where there will be extra parking for the wedding.
