Taylor Swift says writing new Toy Story 5 song felt like ‘coming home’

Taylor Swift has opened up about writing her new song for Toy Story 5, “I Knew It, I Knew You”.
The 36-year-old singer posted a video of herself as a child on Instagram, accompanied by the new track.
“Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time,” she wrote in the caption.
Swift reminisced on her childhood, adding: “Being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.”
The song, written and produced by Swift and Jack Antonoff, is based on the character Jessie’s story, on which Swift said: “Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once.”
