He has just returned from the iconic Scottish castle.
Richard E Grant has revealed that one former Celebrity Traitors contestant gave him a big tip before he did the show.
Actress Celia Imrie was a participant in the inaugural celebrity instalment of the BBC programme, presented by Claudia Winkleman, with Richard now joining the second series.
While the show hasn’t yet broadcast, the actor was questioned about it during an appearance on The One Show. He told presenters Alex Jones and Roman Kemp that after he signed up to the programme, he contacted longtime friend Celia for guidance, reports the Liverpool Echo.
He explained: “When it was announced who was going to be in it, I called her because I’ve known each other for 40 years, and I said, ‘Celia, what is the thing that you can’t be prepared for?’ She said, ‘The cruelty of people who you instinctively want to trust.’
“In a room like this, and suddenly every single person suspects you.”

While he remained tight-lipped about specifics from the series, he hinted: “And I think that’s a very accurate thing to have said.”
Richard also admitted that his daughter harboured doubts about his prospects in the castle, where participants are split into Traitors and the Faithful, who are tasked with identifying which players are concealing their true allegiances.
He recalled: “She and all her friends, to their credit, said, ‘You are incapable of hiding what you feel about anything in life, so don’t think that you’re going to last more than about four nanoseconds’.”
“And did you?” enquired presenter Alex.
“I have no idea!” laughed Richard, remaining tight-lipped about the forthcoming series. He quipped: “I value my knees and I don’t want BBC security to come and break them.”
