Kane described seeing the lifelike figure as “like looking in a mirror” and a “weird feeling,” expressing his honour at the creation.
The waxwork, depicted in an England kit with its foot on a football, was created in close collaboration with Kane and features meticulous details, including tape on his wedding finger.
London was chosen as the ideal location for the figure, which Kane hopes will inspire young fans, particularly those from his boyhood club, Ridgeway Rovers.
The figure will join other sporting legends in the museum’s Culture Capital zone, with Madame Tussauds general manager Steve Blackburn highlighting Kane’s global impact.
