US president Donald Trump has decided to make Sunday a day on the green, accompanied around the loop by a mysterious blonde aide, one day after taking to his own social media platform Truth Social to share a bizarre posting spree. The 79-year-old world leader headed for the Trump National Golf Club in Washington, DC for the second day in a row on Sunday. The US President’s golf trip marks the 26th day he has taken to the links in 2026.It’s also the 112th day he has golfed since returning to office in 2025. He has been back in power for 498 days in total, meaning he has spent roughly 23 percent of his time on the golf course during his second tenure as US president. The White House did not respond to requests made by the Mirror on the identity of his youthful, blonde match-play opponent.

During the president’s post-a-rama on Saturday night, Trump had a grand old time dunking on his predecessor, former US president Barack Obama. The current American leader shared multiple memes denigrating his Democratic rival, such as one that depicted the Obama Presidential Library as a giant rubbish bin.Beginning at noon on Saturday was a six-hour social media extravaganza, chock-full of attacks on his political rivals, bombastic fan tributes, and a veritable treasure trove of the most cringe memes online, all made possible thanks to AI. The bizarre plethora of social posts came on a day when all that was listed on the president’s public schedule was “executive time.”

Another meme depicted the President peeking over the mountain-filled horizon of Greenland, like some sort of god or – perhaps more in line with the local’s point of view – like Godzilla. The giant Kaiju-Trump appears under the headline: “Hello, Greenland!” Trump has repeatedly argued that Greenland should be a US territory, as he believes the nation is vital for national security, much to the chagrin of Greenland, its people, and the overall Kingdom of Denmark.Another of his many unhinged social media posts depicted the US President as a heroic-looking military commander, with a crown of fighter planes roaring along behind him, leaving jet stream plumes in their wake. Captioned below Trump, and below a two-ship fleet consisting of a modern-day naval ships and an old-timey warship, were the words “you’re getting discombobulated”, which is presumably a reference to Trump’s claim that the US military used a secret weapon that the President called a “ discombobulator ” when it renditioned then-Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro in January.

Trump also took some time to breathe some life back into one of his longest-running grudges with US comedian Rosie O’Donnell, depicting the Rosie O’Donnell chat show host in the five stages of “Trump Derangement Syndrome”. Their feud has spanned more than 20 years, multiple presidential campaigns, and two administrations in the Oval Office.
