A “perfect” murder mystery series that fans cannot help but love has announced some big news.
Mystery drama You’re Killing Me dropped on Acorn TV earlier this month, a six-part show which follows best-selling novelist Allie (played by Brooke Shields).
She forms an unlikely alliance with aspiring writer and podcaster Andi (Amalia Williamson) to find the killer of a close friend with new local lead detective Jack (Tom Cavanagh) also on hand to help in the small town of Founder’s Cove.
You’re Killing Me may have only just been released but it’s quickly become a hit with viewers, so much so that it’s already been renewed for season two.
What’s even more exciting is that filming has already been scheduled for later this year to film another six hour-long episodes.

Shields couldn’t contain her excitement at the prospect of returning for more.
She said: “I am crazy happy we get to do a second season of You’re Killing Me .
“I’m thrilled to be collaborating once again with the talented Robin Bernheim and having the opportunity to act opposite Amalia Williamson and Tom Cavanagh has been a dream.
“Thank you to all the people at Acorn TV and the whole marketing and creative teams for helping shepherd this show to where it is today.
“I promise we will continue to deliver the show you all fell in love with… even if it Kills Me.”

Taking to IMdB, fans have been praising the “light heart and entertaining” crime series.
While someone labelled the murder mystery as “perfect”, another wrote: “I absolutely love this show.
“The two main characters are great and their chemistry is what makes it so fun to watch.

“It takes your mind off things for a while and that’s exactly what I want from a show like this. Can’t wait for more episodes.”
