Late Nottingham Forest winner piles on misery for Aston Villa

Igor Jesus scored an 88th-minute winner to secure a 2-1 victory for Nottingham Forest against Aston Villa at Villa Park, earning Forest their first win of the Premier League season and their first at Villa Park since 1994.
The victory marked Oliver Glasner’s first win as Nottingham Forest manager and extended his unbeaten record against Aston Villa boss Unai Emery to eight matches.
Liam Delap opened the scoring for the visitors just 45 seconds into the second half with a driven 20-yard strike into the bottom corner.
Aston Villa briefly drew level and ended their top-flight goal drought when Alysson headed in John McGinn’s cross to score his first goal for the club.
The defeat leaves Unai Emery’s side without a win in their opening four Premier League matches, keeping them anchored in the bottom three.
