  • Arizona estate agent Arthur Layne Lundeen, 67, has been fired by Long Realty after being restrained on a commercial flight.
  • The American Airlines flight from Texas to New Jersey was diverted to Baltimore on 3 September due to Lundeen’s disruptive behaviour.
  • Passengers assisted the flight crew in zip-tying and duct-taping Lundeen to his seat after he allegedly assaulted his seatmate, bit another passenger, and used racial slurs.
  • Upon landing in Maryland, Lundeen was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree assault, with the FBI investigating potential federal charges.
  • Long Realty confirmed it promptly ended its affiliation with Lundeen, stating that appropriate conduct from those associated with the firm is paramount.
