Steve Irwin’s children and widow pay tribute to late conservationist: ‘His love will live on forever’

  • Steve Irwin‘s family have paid emotional tributes to the late conservationist two decades after his death in 2006.
  • His daughter, Bindi Irwin, wrote: “My dad left a lasting impact so poignant that it will ripple out for generations to come. I believe with my whole heart that his love will live on forever.”
  • Irwin’s widow, Terri, who is also a conservationist and owns Australia Zoo, recalled her last weeks alongside Steve, adding that “grief still walks with me like my shadow”.
  • His 22-year-old son, Robert, shared a photograph of himself with his father alongside the caption: “Your legacy is forever.”
  • Bindi and Robert have continued his work in environmental protection, appearing on TV shows and managing their family-run zoo.
