Chelsea have opted not to sign Georginio Wijnaldum, according to Foot Mercato.
The Blues had considered a move to Wijnaldum, who is currently a free agent after leaving Al-Ettifaq.
This means the 35-year-old can join a new club despite the summer window closing on Tuesday night.
