- According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, a package worth up to £125 million has been agreed for Fernandez to join City.
- This would be a record British transfer fee and would see Chelsea make a profit on the Argentine player who they signed for £107m from Benfica in January 2023.
- Fernandez has now been granted permission to undergo his City medical as he looks to complete his move before Tuesday’s 11pm deadline.
