Arsenal announce deal for Salmon

Arsenal on Saturday announced that Marli Salmon has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The Gunners disclosed this ahead of their Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Monday night.

“Everyone at Arsenal congratulates Marli on signing his first professional contract and wishes him well for the upcoming season,” Arsenal’s statement partly read.

Salmon put pen to paper on the first senior deal of his career as he turned professional on his 17th birthday.

“It means a lot to me,” Salmon said after signing his contract. “A lot of hard work went into this, a lot of ups and downs, but I am so proud,” he added.
