The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has advised all aggrieved aspirants who lost in the last primary elections to henceforth desist from causing confusion within the party.
The Deputy National Financial Secretary of the party, Oladimeji Fadeyi said this while addressing journalists on Wednesday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Fadeyi advised the losers to cooperate with the party’s leadership in order to win the forthcoming general elections.
DAILY POST reports that one of the governorship aspirants on the platform of the ADC in Oyo State, Mr Gbemileke Alagbe, has been parading himself as the governorship candidate of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

However, Fadeyi advised Alagbe and other aggrieved aspirants in the state to sheath their swords.
Fadeyi explained that Chief Adegboyega Adegoke is the governorship candidate of the party for the 2027 election.
He said, “Adegoke went through a recognised primary organised by the party and confirmed by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
“The ADC has succeeded in presenting credible people to represent the party in the coming elections, including in Oyo State.
“We had primaries that produced those who would represent the party. For instance, in Oyo State, we had a primary that produced Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke as the candidate for the governorship.
“We went through direct primaries, and members of the party chose him to represent them in the next election in 2027.”
