  • Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein has revealed that keeping a gratitude journal helped transform his mindset after experiencing depression before achieving mainstream fame.
  • The 46-year-old actor was advised by his therapist to record 10 positive moments daily, a practice he says trained his brain to look for the good in life.
  • Goldstein, who won back-to-back Emmy awards in 2021 and 2022 for playing Roy Kent in the Apple TV comedy, acknowledged that he still works to maintain a positive outlook on darker days.
  • In an interview with Men’s Health UK, he also discussed overcoming societal pressures around masculinity and learning the value of emotional vulnerability.
  • Outside of his breakthrough role, Goldstein has appeared in the series Shrinking, the film All Of You, and the romantic comedy Office Romance.
