Priscilla Ojo celebrates son’s first birthday

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, has unveiled the face of her son, Rakeem Mkambala, for the first time as he celebrates his first birthday.
Priscilla, who is married to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, shared pictures of their son on Instagram on Monday to mark his first birthday.
In the post, she described Rakeem as her “greatest answered prayer” and expressed gratitude for watching him grow over the past year.
“We blinked, and a whole year passed.
“To our dearest son,
“Watching you grow has been the biggest blessing. You are the most cheeky, happy, cleverest little pumpkin. You light up every room you walk into and we’re so proud to be your parents,” she wrote.
The influencer said the past year had been filled with moments of love, cuddles and watching her son’s personality develop.
“365 days of loving you, cuddling you, and watching your beautiful personality shine. You are curious, so joyful, so smart and so full of life. You make every day better just by being you,” she added.
Priscilla also expressed amazement at how quickly her son was growing, describing him as their “little sunshine”.
“We can’t believe how fast you’re growing, our little sunshine. May your life be filled with as much happiness as you have given us this past year,” she wrote.
She prayed for her son to grow up healthy, happy and purposeful, while asking God to guide his steps.
“We pray you grow up healthy, happy and full of purpose.
“We pray God guides your steps and orders your path.
“We pray you know how deeply you are loved, every single day,” she added.
She also prayed that her son would retain his joyful nature and continue to have a pure heart.
“We pray your laughter never stops and your beautiful heart stays pure.
“You are our greatest answered prayer.
“Happy 1st Birthday our sunshine, we love you endlessly,” she wrote.
Rakeem was born on August 24, 2025, in Canada, as the first child of Priscilla and Juma Jux.
The couple had announced their pregnancy in July 2025, before celebrating the birth of their son with family, friends and fans.
Following his birth, Rakeem attracted significant attention on social media, with an Instagram account created for him reportedly gaining more than 50,000 followers within an hour of its launch.
Despite the public interest, Priscilla had previously chosen to keep her son’s face private, saying she would reveal him when she felt the timing was right.
The family later reunited in Tanzania, where Jux welcomed his wife and son following their return from Canada.
The unveiling of Rakeem’s face on his first birthday marks a departure from Priscilla’s earlier decision to shield him from public scrutiny.
