A-level results day has arrived, and after months of revision, exams and waiting, it’s time to find out how all that hard work paid off. Whether you’re feeling confident, nervous or somewhere in between, getting your results is a big moment, and one worth marking.
Thankfully, there’s another reason to look forward to the day. A number of restaurants are offering free food, drinks and discounts to students picking up their A-level results, so you can celebrate without spending a fortune. From free chicken at Nando’s to money off your meal at Wagamama, there are plenty of ways to treat yourself.
The rules vary between offers, so make sure you check the individual terms before heading out and have a copy of your results with you for proof. Some deals are only available to those aged 18 or over, plus it’s also worth checking whether you need to dine in, mention the offer before ordering or redeem it on a specific date.
I’ve rounded up the best A-level results day freebies and deals below, so you can get celebrating as soon as you’ve collected those all important results.

On results day, the first 30 students to arrive at Zizzi will receive a free pizza with the purchase of a soft drink. If you miss out on the first 30, you can still get 50 per cent off pizzas until 5pm.
The whole family can benefit from this one: Bella Italia is offering a free starter and dessert for every person who buys a main, when one guest shows proof of A-level exam results. This offer is available on results day only.
Bella Italia prices vary by location, but starters are usually priced from around £4.99 and desserts from around £5.29, so this is a good deal if you’re looking for a three-course meal.
At Banana Tree, you can get a free starter and dessert with the purchase of a main meal. Sign up online to receive a unique voucher code, which you’ll need to show with your exam results on arrival.
Can’t make it today? You can get £10 off your order between Monday and Friday year-round when you sign up to Banana Tree’s newsletter. Keep in mind that you can’t use this and your A-level results freebie at the same time.
If you fancy a Nando’s after opening your results, you can get a free quarter chicken or starter when you spend £7 or more. Though not a complete freebie, we know Nando’s is a student favourite. To nab this deal, all you need to do is show your ID and proof of your results (paper or electronic) when you dine in on A-levels results day.
At Bill’s, you can get a free dessert on results day when you buy a main meal. Importantly, you’ll need to bring your physical results to redeem this offer. The price of desserts at Bill’s varies across locations, but you’ll usually find them for around £4.50.
On results day, you can get a complimentary dirty soda for one at participating TGI Fridays restaurants, when you show proof of your 2026 A-level results. The offer is available while stocks last and is limited to one drink per person collecting their results.
You’ll need to be aged 16 or over, and you may be asked to show proof of age. The offer is for dine-in only and can’t be used with click and collect, delivery or dine-out orders.
This isn’t technically a freebie, but you can get a whopping 20 per cent off your bill when you dine in at Wagamama from Sundays to Thursdays. And it’s not restricted to exam season, this is an all year long deal. You’ll need to download and join its loyalty app, Soul Club.
A-level students can get 15 per cent off their bill at Wingstop today (13 August). To claim the deal, simply visit a Wingstop UK restaurant and show your results, either printed or on your phone. There’s no minimum spend or booking required, so you can just turn up, show your results and enjoy your order for less.
Slim Chickens is giving away three free chicken tenders and a dipping sauce on results day. To claim the offer, students need to visit the Slim Chickens results day page to get a promo code and add it to the app, then show their A-level results in a participating restaurant. The offer is available for one day only.
This one isn’t a foodie experience, but instead a chance to let loose and celebrate your results. The offer is available at the attraction’s London and Manchester venues, and there are 50 free places available on a first-come, first-served basis. To claim a free ticket, book online using the code CFORCRYSTAL and arrive at the attraction with your A-level results sheet showing at least one C grade.
Students can get a free pad thai at Rosa’s Thai on A-level results day, whatever their grades. To claim it, students need to sign up on the Rosa’s Thai website ahead of the meal to receive a unique code, then visit a participating restaurant with the code and a copy of their results. The free pad thai is available with the purchase of one of Rosa’s Thai’s bubble teas, with more than 100 free pad thais available across participating restaurants in England and Wales.
Celebrate with a free cocktail or mocktail at Blend Family’s five food halls on results day. The first 50 eligible students at each venue can claim one drink on a first-come, first-served basis, with cocktails available to those aged 18+ only. To get the free drink, simply show your 2026 exam results and mention the offer to your server when ordering at the bar. The offer starts from 11am, is limited to one redemption per person and is available for dine-in only, not takeaway or collection.
Participating venues are Alfred Works in Birmingham, Kargo MKT in Manchester, Cutlery Works and Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield, and Tower Bridge Collective in London. The offer is available from 13-20 August.
