Chelsea have identified another player to sign after recently securing the signing of Pep Chavarria.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea have made an ‘enquiry’ for Bournemouth midfielder, Alex Scott after completing a deal to sign Chavarria from Rayo Vallecano this summer.
Chelsea are keen to sign Scott as Enzo Fernandez’s future at Stamford Bridge is uncertain after the Argentina World Cup winner was linked with a move to Manchester City.
The report added that Bournemouth values Scott at around £80 million, and it is yet to be seen if Chelsea will be willing to pay the amount.
Recall that Chavarria joined Xabi Alonso’s side to fill the void left by Marc Cucurella’s departure to Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old joined the Premier League West London club on a five-year deal.
