Nigerian professional wrestler, Oba Femi has won his first Hell in a Cell match, defeating former University of Minnesota wrestler Brock Lesnar at the just concluded 2026 SummerSlam.
DAILY POST reports that the Summer Slam main event took place on Saturday night at the United States, US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Speaking after the match, Brock Lesnar publicly endorsed Oba Femi as the WWE future while acknowledging himself as the past.
Responding, Oba Femi also acknowledged Brock Lesnar as the beast, stating that “the hug and public endorsement was definitely a sword and I didn’t see that coming.
“I know that deep down, Brock has always respected me and he knows that deep down, I respect him as well”, Oba Femi added.
The Lagos-born wrestler has had an impressive debut year in the World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE, defeating Lesnar at WrestleMania in April this year and won winning King of the Ring in June.
Brock Lesnar’s defeat was his first loss inside the Hell in a Cell.
