Former Real Madrid and Manchester United striker, Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, has officially joined USL Championship expansion club, Atletico Dallas.

The 38-year-old signed a two-year deal with Atletico Dallas on Monday.

Atletico Dallas disclosed this in a post on X, stating that the Mexico all-time leading scorer is the first signing for the club.

“Chicharito is BACK. @atleticodallas has announced Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez as its first signing in club history,” the club wrote.

Chicharito last played for Chivas in Mexico and left the club last November.

The former Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham star netted 52 goals in 109 appearances for Mexico during his time with the national team.
